My trip to Norfolk Island was beautiful, it was very laid back in those years. Cows had right of way in the streets. We stayed in a motel that was being renovated so there was only my two friends, myself and another couple there so we got VIP treatment…

We went for lots of walks, there are lots of interesting cemeteries and we spent a lot of time walking around and eating. It was the first time I ever ate an avocado! It was beautiful scenery and we went on a bus trip all around the island, it was very peaceful and lovely. There was no television, no radios and newspapers were about 3 days old so it was very restful. We had a lovely time.
